I figured out that the Rifles, Bazookas, and Laser Cannons give the largest flinch rates of all other ranger weapons. However, that does not particularly mean they give the largest amount of damage.

Mechguns give the largest amount of damage on any given scenario. The only problem is that they are extremely low on flinch rates, giving Mechguns a disadvantage against flinch-resistant units like Helion or Froutang. However, against Arkzeins, these tend to work like a charm because of its strafe ability.

Handguns give the least of the flinch rates but they are good procking weapons.

Gunblades are good in scenarios that involve the Ranger having to resort to going up close. Although putting the Ranger in their disadvantage (close-range combat) their flinch rates are just below a Rifle and their Earth Bullet and Impact Zero PAs cause a ridiculous flinch rate that rivals the Bazooka.
