I get disgusted if the anime doesn't follow the manga. The only exception if the animation studio can come up with a better stroy line; which in most cases is never.

You get an extra view when you watch the dub version as well.

Im the same, i learnt alot from watching anime. Im currently trying to finish of Bleach since i left it for too long. I might even turn back to the manga too? I need to start watching Naruto again assuming they haven't introduced fillers again >.<

As for manga some of my favs are:
The world god only knows, Aiki, Enchanter, Jinki Extend, DN Angel, Needless, Claymore...
