I wanna say it's expected, and it is, but damn SEGA. Other MMOs don't have this issue. You need to plan better.

All the other mmos I've played had this issue. :-?

This is the only MMO I've ever played, and it has this problem, which means all MMO suffers from it in my book, but it's tottaly okay by me, since I see this as normal situation

Where is this assertion made?

Yeah it's pretty standard for MMO's to have problems during major updates. At least the stuff isn't IP blocking everyone, or well extended for another whole day.
