Boosted ....Items?
YO guys!
I don't know if you've experienced this before but I got to say...
Why are there monsters that aren't Boosted but still drop their Boosted items?
Been seeing this lately while on my search of Fuma Shuriken. Is this normal? Anyone have the same well...not really a problem...err..."good thing?"
-
I've actually noticed that too, the boosted variants typically only drop me greens and meseta.
Most of the 7* items I have are from normal enemies.
-
I think it means you have a better chance of getting the item from the "boosted variant" but Im not sure on this
-
definitely seems like the boost are just tougher to kill and no boost in drops. But thats just perception
-
Really? Hm, but it just doesn't make sense.
Oh well, still on the search for Fuma Shuriken.
Can't seem to drop with those boosted Garaphytons!!
-
personally i see a boosted mob and im just happy at the exp bonus i get, it isnt even harder to kill just got alot more hp and never seem to drop anything bar meseta for me :s

You do understand the Shurikens are incredibly rare right?
It's not like you have a 50% chance of getting one from a boosted hostile.
Let's say the normal chance is something like 1/1000, the boost hostile does increase the chance, but only by a slim amount, let's say 1/900.
Back in PSO, there were insane droprates, like the Psycho Wand (1/299,593).
Also, notice the Shurikens aren't counted towards the Item Collection rate, neither does the Psycho Wand. Which probably means they're awefully rare, as only a few people would be able to complete their item collection.

What I noticed is preety much in par with everyone else here, boosted hostiles seem to only give me money. Yet I got a Crimson Vis and a Hadan Fang from non boosted enemies. So the boost might make it easier to obtain the rare, but it is not limited to boosted hostiles.

Hoho! Well, I'm well aware that they're rare, I know, I admit it myself.
But I'll take what less chance I have.
