That's kind of the point of having it, so yes
I've recently started to do this for certain situations.
Ooh yeah, I found a pretty nice service for it.
Its handy. Definitely NOT for online gaming though hah!
I wouldnt say that. Certain low spec mmos can be played with no issue on a tether. PSO included. At least with my service.Quote:

VERY Handy when mobile too, like, say..... getting lost, and you're the "crazy" guy who keeps a printer in your car and can tether your laptop to your phone to get google maps printed out for directions.
Android 4.3, tethering still works. It's blocked in 4.4 and up. (Or maybe something to do with Nexus5)

For everything else, there's always user agent switchers on Firefox and Chrome
I've seriously thought about putting a tether on my phone because I've had so many near-misses of dropping my phone into a toilet bowl full of greasy brown blood after eating too much spicy food.
