Obviously the biggest pain point still is the combat lacking depth, which admittedly, in the new boss fights is being mitigated slightly by the bosses doing more than standing there and getting hit. Dark Falz Solus was a pretty big treat to progress through when it first came out, using a lot of the mechanics they first used in Dark Falz Aegis. Loot has gotten considerably better ever since Yoshioka left SEGA (sorry, people, Episode 6 was just as boring as NGS was.) and is being distributed better to not punish you for playing different content. Weapon potentials are getting *somewhat* more interesting, even if verschemlz is a total miss in terms of playability.. their current content methods seem like a healthy, stable flow of content for how they want to do things, with large bosses coming every few months and a new area every 6 months with micro-updates every week and rotating seasonal events.
