I still lurk on PSO-World. mostly in college trying pursing my dreams. taking classes on animation mentor. and local in digital media. maybe thinking about coming animator or storyboard . PS games made it all started . so I'm like less playing PS games. that time of age when I start to think about careers.
Don't know about the others, but I'm still hanging around almost daily, just not posting.
Lurking now and then, I have to agree it is quiet per say. Outside any unknown migration, daily life I presume.
I'm on FFXIV right now. I was in WoW for a bit for Legion, Classic, and the first bit of Shadowlands. I mostly socialize on discord and reddit, but it's just not as good as PSOW was.
I am always lurking in the dark shadows of PSO World, waiting to pounce on any unsuspecting new members. Oh and any post deserving of my two cents.
I am being a overlord in my dove kut kingdom.
I check back in once or twice a year—usually too lazy to log in though. Seems like anyone who still plays PSO or PSU sticks to whatever their server of choice uses, be it a forum or discord.
Definitely isn't 01-10 anymore.
Basically, we got older and moved on to the other things but still come here from time to time. I had a brief stint with PSO2 NA and was active again here, but then I stopped playing.
I was away for quite awhile since I thought that PSO2 would NOT be localized at all. But now that I'm happily playing this game and building up anticipation for New Genesis; I will be working my way back to here. As to what I've been up to; mostly playing games offline on various consoles (I now currently own a Switch and a gaming laptop).
Seeing some of you guys' username brings back alot of fond memories. we probably never talked but had alot of mutual friends
hey......PSO...PSU, PSZ and JP PSO2 was like a second like to me. i took a major hiatus.
During the early days of PSO2, i did help Ricardo over at PSUblog.org heavily. That really took a toll on me.
lets just say end gaming, level capping and grinding and knowing what weekly update put a heavy fatigue on me.
i played with several mutual friends on PSU who met in real life and played PSO2 with thier kids later on. crazy
Now, i only play offline story driven game. call me a "Phantasy Star Online alcoholic" because im sober now.
its nice looking at past groups i was in and reading all the old comments
i hope all who find their way back to PSOW has been safe over the years, RIP for the ones we lost.
cheers
Man, it's been awhile since I last visited these forums. Been almost a year since I last hopped on here. Pretty much transitioned away from PSO tbh, did briefly attempt PSO2 but mainly on FFXIV when I do play a MMO. It is nice to see PSOW is still around even though it's no longer as active as it once was.
It certainly has been a hot minute.
The last time I was here for 5 or 6 months ago. I forgot my password and my account go to block aahaha But during this time I've been playing online games and thanks to soirish casino now I play and make money anywhere and anytime
I pop in here every so often, just don't really post much.
I pop in a few times a year. Can't forget your roots.
8-10 years playing PSO since Dreamcast and into Game Cube. Played PSU till it closed its doors on us. Waited for pso2 to be localized, which it finally did, but somehow it did not carry the same feels as the og PSO.
Currently playing mostly Warframe, the closest I have gotten to my HUcaseal since PSO and PSU.
Forever the Gate Guardian.
Against all expectations to the contrary, I still exist.
Protip of the day: if your mouse suffers from an issue where it inadvertently clicks twice when you meant to click once, shake it vigorously side to side, and then slap its underside into the palm of your free hand a few times.
So the forum died or what?
If Edson Drake came back to PSO2, so would I. But I don't know what happened to him.
I've got back in contact with one of my old PSO buddies. It's been nice catching up, it's been about 20 years so a LOT has happened.
Still trying to get in touch with some others. One day, maybe.
I still lurk the forums from time to time. I tried PSO2 and wasn't feeling it, so I'll stick to FFXIV for now.
I pop in now and then, but these days I'm mostly hanging around on Discord. Forums as a whole have just kinda... dropped off with the internet being concentrated and distilled into a few sites for the most part, but I do miss this place.
Got the itch and jumped back on to a private server starting from scratch Blue Burst.
Same, I pop in every now and then . And then there is discord as well . And if I have known them for a very long time I become friends with them on other social media platforms to keep in touch.
If its the same discord I still use my character name there as well.
Hol' up, there's a PSOW discord?
I dont think psow has a discord. I have found a discord that deals with psobb. But I dont think I can promote another site here. But they are easy to find. Honestly though, the one I found, is just as much a ghost town as here. I only joined it so they can answer a few questions I had about their "services".
