Possible new scam technique? Lag?

So the other day i was purchasing Mot Walna out of a few shops. i stumbled upon a room that had 15 of them for a relatively low price but not especially low.

after spending 300k on those 15 of them, the room took my money and i didn't receive the walna. but they weren't in his shop anymore either.

happened to me twice purchasing walna
ended up paying 500k for 2 walna.

Well... back when I use to play the demo there was a glitch like you described. They would put up for trade then when you confirm they put there modem on stand by and take away. It was gone but still looked like it was there on the other persons screen. I dont know if it works on the real game though :/

Anyway he said he bought it out of a player shop so it couldnt be standby. It was probably just a glitch.
