Phantasy Star Online 2 for vita question?

Alright, so here's my question. So far there is no announcement of Phantasy star online 2 coming to the PS Vita in North America. My question is this; Since the vita is region free and SEGA is releasing actual hard copies of the game in Japan, would I be able to play the hard copy on a NA PS vita?

Hello! I just recently picked up the hard copy(ep.3) for PS vita. It works fine, just gotta make sure there's enough free space on your memory card for the update.
