Article: SEGA Officially Announces Western Release of PSO2 in 2013

This is wonderful news. I am glad to hear that PSO World was able to break this story!

You have a chance to do something great here, Sega, but in order to win over the people you need (and your hard core fans who are already playing on JP servers), you're going to have to make a big splash and do something extraordinary. Just releasing the game and doing nothing else isn't going to get you far. I hope you've got something big up your sleeves!

They will need to have at least 10x lobbies dedicated for AFK dancing then.

Patience. Speaking as one of early adopters who is playing a japanese version of videogame for the first time as tester, you will be glad all the kinks PSO2 currently has will be mostly ironed out for worldwide release. You will be glad to choose languages as well.

idk why some of you think updates will be behind. America release will has the same without having to work through the bugs. and the last pso games weren't free to play so this will keep active accounts and keep it alive so there inst any history to base this off of.

you clearly haven't played SOA's PSO and PSU have you?

I hope they dont repeat themselves this time around.....and here I was waiting on a NA release. Guess ill hop on JP version for now.

Sega's smart enough to announce this on the perfect site. :) Unfortunately, that release date is quite far off.
Oh well, here's to hoping they'll be nice enough to offer character transfers. :p
