Low and behold it was the Accessory guess and well less SG than I thought. If theres enough uproar from this, heres my second guess:
-announce a campaign for the rest of the player base to complete or reach a specific Depth for a month (or longer) duration with LS stone or Chronos as the reward (with double to triple the entries per day or unlimited during the campaign)
-existing players who have completed D999 prior to the campaign will get the rewards above AND a unique weapon or more rocks + accessories + SG + 50% affix booster + more goodies for being the first wave done
-just give everyone a LS stone as an apology
Can you sell the mantle? I mean, there are two of them. Considering how few people want to get to 999, I kinda feel the stock is very low. You can sell it like, 300 - 500m each? Not sure.
Pretty sure you get 2 so you can unlock it on all of your characters.
