pso2 Base game is ending it service?

Hello it been awhiiiiiile since I was on this forum and I think I going to start coming back on here. Anyway I was playing on the server and someone said that the PSO2 Base game will be ending it service soon. Can someone can confirm that? I don't mind NGS but I still haven't got enough of the base game yet XD

I haven't seen any official statement saying so yet so unless some else has seen one it could just be a nasty rumour.
