I'm still having this problem. Could anyone help me? :(

I read the guide, but in order to get to the screen that shows the 16-digit code, you need to be able to log in your account in the first place.
My problem is that I can't even log in because I don't have the code. And I lost access to my previous device, which I used to log in my account.
I suppose it's your fault then.
Oops.
Better wait until SEGA introduces an unlink function.
Yes, you're right, it's my mistake. That's why I'm trying to find a way to solve this problem.
I wish they had something like what they have for the PC version, so you can have them send the code to the email address registered with the account.
I guess SEGA isn't smart enough to think of cases when people lose their devices.
For you guys needing codes, are your characters PSO2es only? I'm pretty sure I read on the code screen itself that PSO2 linked accounts can just transfer with their Sega ID, but it was a rough google translate for me at the time. I do know that when I hit the device transfer button, it gives me a PSO2/Sega ID option.
Just curious for future reference. When my wife reinstalled the app, she logged back in with Sega ID only, but once in it gave her a new 16 digit code(even though she didn't to use the old one). Strange!
Couple of questions relations to what some things are used for.
I've been getting some 10 Star and 8 Star Element chips that I'm unsure if I should just feed to my AP attack cards or save them.
Also, the same for these 10 Star and 8 star capsule chips.
By the by, if you need any help, you can add me as a friend. Finished all the 4 star missions and just grinding away at this game now.
Those are all used as materials for Chip Release. You get a chip to it's maximum level and you can release it, increasing it's maximum level.
So the new chips~
The Ryoma one is strong, the chance to activate seems to be the same as Marlu, even if it say the chance is small.
It only last 10 second though.Spoiler!
Thr valkyrie chronicle one doesn't have a new CG after extending it though.
Spoiler!
SC5 one also gets a new CG, so did some of the old character element one(Getten, etc)Spoiler!
They FINALLY fixed the bug with friend assists as a ranger. \o/
I tried using one and I can now shoot my gun after diverolling.
How does your element attribute work in es?
I know that if your element match the enemy weakness then your damage is increased, but does it help at all if you have like 250 light and you are trying to hit a oodan which is weak to fire and wind?
Also is the element of the active chip thats used for attaking (PA/Tech etc) matters aside from the element attribute they provide?
Also can multiple copy of same passive chips stack? Like 2x lisa/malmoth/dagash chip?
Has anyone actually managed to finish the hardest version of the new Burn Draal quest?
The thing has so much HP I can't even reach the damage goal.
At least spamming the lower difficulties is still a really good source of EXP compared to pretty much anything else right now.
I almost did it solo. took about 5 runs, but ran out of time right before I could start the last run to kill it. Ideally what you do is you invite friends and they help you kill your target. But as I learned the hard way, helping your friends does not mean a clear for you.
Just a bump in the form of a PSA: the Burn Draal EM is up again, for another 6 hours. Also, any equipment you find from it when it dies has a high chance of containing a Soul Receptor.
Ok, I need help. I reinstalled bluestacks and PSO2ES recently. I finished patching the game, I put in my unsername and password, it asked me for something else after that, which I thought was my OTP so i put that in and then another thing asked me to input stuff in multiple boxes, like a serial or something. Think I did something wrong.
Edit: googling brought me back to this thread where I found that the game is asking me for a 16-digit password because it thinks I'm on a new device. I don't have the previous device since it was another installation of bluestacks before I formatted my hard drives. Is there any way for me regain access to my account in bluestacks? I just want to load up some AC without a markup T-T
Edit2: well somewhere else in this thread I found there's a way to ask for a re-issue of the 16-digit password, but one has to fill in a questionnaire, problem is that the questions are about when I started playing, the last time i played, and about my PSO2es character like its class, level and naming 2 of the chips it owns, none of which I can answer except the character name :S
Are there any alternatives? Can anyone help me with this?
The new group quests have pretty nice affixing fodder from the hardest difficulty.
I got a five slot Power III, Spirita III, Soul Receptor item.
If only it was easier to find people to do them with.
Something that's really been bugging me lately is how ridiculously OP the attack boosting 11* star cards are compared to everything else. If you get one, you essentially get to kill everything almost twice as quickly as you normally would (Plus different cards can stack...).
The other more specific damage boosting cards like Theodore and Vol Dragon are utter trash by comparison, as they cost CP to activate and only provide about a 20% damage boost. Naturally, those are the only ones I ever actually get.
It feels like you practically need one of those cards to be able to reach the damage goal on the very hard group quests, since even with maxed element at level 47 with an attack boost friend card, I'm only able to make it about three-fourths of the way there.
Not really, I play on my alt with no 11* damage chip, and is still able to clear VH, but I have two Dragon gunner chip, and using the Marlu chip from my main as an assist chip.
What you need is active friends, so they can help you clear it.
But the Sumo Darker Boss can be burned and Poisoned(1950 damage each tick)
When all 3 Attack chip activate(Marlu+Dragon gunners) My normal tali throw hits 300~400, and Dark spell hits for 2000+
And clearing VH has a chance to get a 5s Soul receptor gear(Soul Receptor+Power III+Ability III+Stamina III+Spirita III)
And I use a All class Tali with dark spell on my main, currently level Bouncer with it, using Photon blade normally, but for event Boss, I find Tali and Dark spell safer, and chance to poison boss is more useful.
Spoiler!
Can it actually be burned/poisoned often enough for it to be a practical option over using electric techs on it?
It would be really easy to meet the goal if it is.
For the last Vol dragon, I can poison him almost within 1~2 cast of Megid, This boss, takes 3~4, but usually last all the round til lthe end.
So 30 second or 40 second of poison, 1950 damage every 2 second,..Enough to get a Great ranking on my alt with no Attack boost beside the two dragon gunner atk up chip.
And also use the Friend assist attack button, for Vol dragon, using it when he flies up, will reset him to the ground.
For Sumo, I use it when I get grabbed or knocked down, since it reset btoh our position to starting position, instead of spending 1~2 second standing up, the clock stops.
Burning would be easier if you have the Shining serie Misty chip, this might be more useful if you don't play with a Rod/Tali and use dark spell, as it gives normal attack chance to cause burn on enemy, even boss, and the chance to effect is pretty high, especially if you use a weapon that attack alot. I don't remember how much damage burn decrease on the current boss, but it's not as high as Poison(1950), I think its...600 or is it 900 damage.
I'll agree with you on the Vol Dragon chip (Especially if you have the Samurai or Quna S Excellent chip), but Theodore? If you have your element at 250, and are hitting elemental weaknesses, Theodore chip will add a whole new level of power to your attacks. Not always worth the effort to set up, but if you can do it, do it.
Sizu is correct though, you can pretty much blast out the EM bosses with statuses to quickly reach the damage goal. Personally with poison and a whole lot of damage boosting chips, I can easily knock out anywhere from 25-40% of the boss out on VH in one go depending on how generous the map was in regards to power boosts. VH Bosses die within 3 runs.
One other tip? Use your friend assists whenever you can. It's basically free damage and get out of jail free card - in the scope of the EM, anytime you use your friend assist, the timer will stop, and both yourself and your target will reset to a neutral state. This means you get the damage inflicted by your partner, and if you got hit and sent flying or grabbed, you can use the assist to put yourself back into a position to attack without wasting time on recovery (or dodge and counterattack immediately. Aronagarda likes to try to grab you if you're right next to it coming out of a friend assist).
Also, if anyone wants to friend me, my ID is Renne. I do a lot of receptor farming, so I do check in a lot. You can also message me if you need a specific chip set up as well.
haha a lot of people are playing this shitty game what a surprise
Making a topic for ID sharing would be nice, its getting hard to get friend partners with decent chips, as people prefers to use a popular/cute character chip in their first slot and there are the ones who add you and never pop in the game again. Oh, and there are the ones who suddenly pop up without their weapon idk why...
There's no reason not to use, at minimum, Lisa or Marlu. ESPECIALLY Lisa (#1 Chip in the game right now. It always has been.). The other attack up chips seemed unimpressive to me (Klotho and others, I don't use them if I have the top 3 to pick from so meh). Ohza is very good too.
I started by friending everyone with Lisa or Marlu chips, and would use them on every run along with 250 element. Now I have my own unlocked Lisa, so I only friend people with Marlu chips (and clear out Lisa's that have vanished or never use my assist).
At level 60 with 819 satk, Lisa and Marlu, it takes 1-2 Hien Tsubaki's to clear a fight (between 5-10sec/fight depending on how many atk ups I have, most of it is just me getting into position). I farm 6* Mizer so I bring electric and he also drops in 2 pa's. On lower level areas, I one shot fights from the get go.
Sega balance.
My preferred setup lately is Yukihime+Ohza (Due to the recent EM season). Yes, you have to activate 2 chips, but you can blow up the EM bosses pretty badly with that combination alone (you will however, take a LOT of damage if you get hit with them both active).
Burn Draal EM was a boon for anyone who could set up a Samurai + Quna S combo too (Those 2 chips alone can match the damage the auto-fire loadout below can output against dragon type).
While it's easy to just build what I would call an auto-fire damage deck (Marlu+Chroto+Hajime+Risa) and steamroll pretty much every generic mission, absolute DPS is what you'll want to have for the EMs - you'll need some more specific chips to do this. This is also my argument for having a nice variety of friends as well - some people will run the chips that you wouldn't normally see.
Too bad I only ever seem to get the terrible 11* chips.
The best one I have a Shion chip, which is nice when it decides to activate (Since it basically makes my PA/tech cost 0 PP when it does), but I'd still rather have one of the attack boosters.
Emergency Quest start 9/13 - 1600 JST
So, I tried poisoning the boss this time around, but I must be really unlucky, because it's taking so long for it to actually work that I'm dealing less damage then just going at with my lightning techs.
I'm using a 10* Megid that hasn't been unlocked yet, for reference.
Ok, so I've heard about the secret chip (黄昏のクーナ/Quna of the Twilight) from the recent scratches, but not once did I actually see it for real or use it. Until it actually showed up in my Friend list. After seeing the artwork, and actually using it, it's definitely a chip I really want (but will most likely not get, especially since they started littering the es premium scratches with AC clothing items). The fact that most of my friend list like to flaunt new chips when they come out, and only 1 person has it, can probably attest to how rare it is.
Since it's pretty uncommon, and even very few sites have a picture of it, I took a screenshot of it - I really do like the artwork used here:
http://stylizedunreality.com/Images/...ilightquna.png
As for how it plays, it's probably one of the most broken chips I've ever used. It's an active chip, costs 40CP, and it lasts for 20 seconds on activation. It gives an attack power up around the level of Ohza's Fury Stance chip, but without the defense penalty. It's also healing you for 10% of the damage your output. The only real drawback is that it's a native dark element chip (which makes sense - the unlocked version is supposedly Quna and Hadred), and that it also costs 21 points to equip.
edit: go figure. The wiki just put up the pictures for this chip and its unlocked forms a moment ago here
Klotho chip also gives a big boost in Atk, more then Marlu, although it only last for 15 second(Extended), the Increase Darker Gwandaha chip is also a good chip to use, it last for 30 second, Azanami last for 40 seconds, but the boost is about 2x Dragon gunner.
Ryoma chip still has the lowest activation rate, even lower then Klotho, at least to me, even though both are supposed to have the same rate
Spoiler!
I don't see alot of people using Yukime chip now, probabely due to the high cost.
Spoiler!
Twilight Quna has the current highest cost, whicih might be why not alot of people are using herSpoiler!
I think they "fixxed" this chip now, before it was dealing more damage then Yukihime, now it's not as high, lower then Marlu chip.
Spoiler!
Err I totally didn't know some chips changed like this. I thought these were two completely different chips. I actually have this sitting in my inventory.
Regardless of a (possibly) low activation chance, is it worth dumping my rappy chips into this (consider that the only superchip on my bar is Lisa)?
Any chip that procs on attack connect (JA or regular) is great if your attacks hit multiple times. Hien Tsubaki is notorious for making chips with not-so-good proc rates work very often. Risa chip will also assist in this as well, since that chip can cause a second attack per hit, which also causes other chip effects to proc as well.
i.e. The most extreme example would be Hien Tsubaki + Risa. Tsubaki hits 7 times. That's 7 attacks to proc Risa chip effects. Risa chip has a decent change of occurring (60-70% chance) - so your end hit count would be anywhere from 8-14. If you have any other chips that activate by chance on hit, then they will be activating by chance on the new hit count. In this case, for the Ryoma chip, you basically have up to 14 chances on one attack to have it activate. Low chances or not, when you have up to 14 chances to activate that chip within a span of 2 seconds, it's going to activate within 2 uses of Tsubaki.
Edit: Hien Tsubaki isn't the most extreme example, that title actually goes to one point. With onepoint, you can change the numbers I gave for for tsubaki to 10-18 chances.
Yeah Hien is stupid good on ES. Too bad the PC version is garbage in comparison. Just need to get 2 more good chips.
Also what does increasing ability level actually do? I have some fp's with lisa 2 and 3 but can't tell the difference compared to lvl 1.
Depends on the chip, some reduce CP cost, other increase chance to activate, such as Risa, Ryoma, Marlu, etc chip.
And I think there are some that increase the element stat too?
For example the ryoma chip, at lv.1, it's chance to activate is small+(Look at the lower right corner for activation rate)
Spoiler!
Leveling ability will do one of 2 things depending on whether it is an active chip or a passive chip.
For Active chips, you decrease the CP cost to use the chip. usually 1 CP, sometimes 2CP. The lower the original cost, the more it seems like a great deal.
For passive chips, this ups their proc rate, if it isn't 100%, or if it is a 100% proc rate, it will up the strength of the effect.

For a lack of a better place to ask this question:
I recently started playing PSO2es to farm Soul Receptors. What is a good way to farm them? I kind of see Malmoth running on one of the lowest tier missions, but that sounds pretty lame and I am wondering whether there is a better way of doing it.
Thanks in advance.
The drop rate on soul receptor seems to be exactly the same among all of the different bosses.
Therefore, the boss you can kill the quickest for the lowest energy cost is the best option, unless you'd like to shoot for a soul + soul receptor unit of your choosing.
People run the Malmoth over Rockbear, though, as the former seems to have a much lower chance of not giving a piece of equipment, whereas it feels really common to get grinders or meseta from the latter.
On a side note, I feel dumb for overlooking the usefulness of Shifta for such a long time. The boost it gives (At least on the 10* version) rivals that of the 11* attack boosting cards. If you use a friend assist with the card equipped, they'll also cast it on you.
I use the Highest level Quartz dragon as it has a good chance for Soul receptor weapon and defense Quartz unit with Soul receptor.
The current EQ has a really good chance to give soul receptor too.
If you play, you can sign in to the sign in topic, and send friend invite to people that put their info there.

So now the latest scratch lets you win 11* cards that have already been upgraded.
I knew I'd regret spending those 45 free rappy medals sooner then later.
The other things of note: They've put up the Bouncer weekly quest up, and it also contains Active Photon Factor tanks you need to unlock most of the 10 and 11* chips. Which is great, since I personally thought it was BS that you had to wait for a single day every week to get the 1 material needed to unlock most of the high level chips, and it only shows up on that one day.
Also, they've put up 3 boss event missions each with 3 difficulties. Mizer and Quartz were previously run before, but Ragne is new. As usual, meeting all of the Score Bonus Targets will net you a unit, and a weapon, both are 3 slot, and loaded with Soul Receptor.
You could also get the Risa Excellent and Quna Excellent pre-unlocked when those chips were up.
I think the most important part about this is that it doubles your chances for a Quna, Xion, Zeno, Tia, Marlu, Ohza, or Gettem chip. With all the EMs that have been running, and now the easier to acquire photon factor tanks, it shouldn't be that much more effort to go from locked to unlocked (though it would be even better to get it pre-unlocked; I'd be happy that I even got the chip in the first place).
Pretty sure the rarest of the bunch is going to be the Io chip - In the last 2 weeks it was available, my attempt to get the Twilight Quna chip (my pocketbook and my medal stash are disappointed in me, since I didn't get it), I only managed to pull 1 Io chip. conversely, I pulled 6 Risa Excellents, 2 Quna Excellent, 1 Quna S Excellent, 1 Risa S Excellent, 6 Chrotos and countless Marlu chips.
Well I could argue that Quna, Tia and Xion's abilities are kind of lacking, but the stats on each of those chips are fairly good. Really good in the case of Xion.
I just got Io's chip. Spent most of my coins trying to get Quna and Lisa excellent on the last 2 weeks and got a bunch of darkers and Tea. I hope I can actually net a Marlu chip now with the supposedly increased chances.
I had 4 Marlu's friended, 2 changed to Lisa Excellent (I don't get as much dmg out of it compared to Marlu, Samurai and Ohza), one to Fourier (yeah, Fourier...) and the other isn't on the list anymore.
But I get your point, its just that getting at least one of the atk ups would help and getting all of them helps as you can rotate them like Sizustar proposed, but no, instead I get all the HP regen chips (only Quna left I think) ^^;.
Interesting, so Friend list is shared between character, but Chip isn't, Rappy chip is also individual character.
*Trying second character in PSO2es*
Are connection problems bad for everyone or only for me?
Sometimes it works fine, but some others I need 4-6 retries for every step to load. And right now thing is unable to get to lobby.
How does Score Bonus work? I just realized I can get Rappy Medals too by completing Special Quests on all difficulties. I also got Soul Receptors items as Score Bonus through them. So I was wondering how that works. It doesn't seem to happen when you complete a quest you already have completed before for example.
The information is on the official site already
http://pso2.jp/es/players/news/?id=359
The current event, if you score 12* with all 3 difficulity combined, you get a Soul receptor weapon, if you score 15* with all 3 difficulity combined, you get a 3s Soul receptor armor.
So when you clear, you want to clear in as short time as possible and take zero% damage to get S-rank and max star.
Other then that, you have to fight boss, people fight Quartz or Malmo for Soul receptor mainly.
What's the difference between the AC scratch and the rappy coin scratch (besides possibly getting costumes?) Does the AC scratch contain shitty rage-inducing 8* chips?
They both contain the same chips. If anything AC scratch is more rage inducing because of the AC costumes they put in there. I mean when you scratch for chips, you expect chips, not clothing. Especially if there's a chip you really want to get.
The side effect to this though, is that clothes can be recycled, and that you can also use clothing from the real game to recycle in ES (of course you're more likely to do the opposite: recycle in PSO2, not es). Also, if a rappy or lilipa suit is in the list, it's not so bad at that point then, as you could always sell it for more than minimum like you would for everything else.
So there's this awesome campaign going on that halves the drive for some quests on certain days. Today's picks include the level 50 skyland stages!
Time to grind out some receptors! :D
Has anyone else played the game since the update? Because it seems glitchy to me.
For starters, my character's outfit color is messed up, then while I was doing a quest, I randomly locked up and wasn't able to take any action, which predictably led to my death.
This new update is quite extensive - more stages, the new chip lab/Seraphy's room, a new reward system, and a new EM with Banther Ong.
Seraphy's room and the reward system is tied - as you collect more unique chips, you get more rewards. Seraphy has quite the personality as well, and is probably the only operator in the PSO2 world to show an actual shred of personality outside of "work".
For anyone feeling like they can't get ahead in chips, you get a free Hunewearl chip for logging in. This is basically a weaker version of Risa, but hey, it cost you nothing. After collecting some chips, you'll also get the FOnewearl chip, which is basically a weaker Marlu. Again, free, and also they cost 12 points each to equip.
Speaking of chips, scratch system has a minor change to it, and one that most people will like - there is now an 11 scratch for 30 medals option. furthermore unlike the version that requires AC, you will NOT get costumes and parts out of this.
The EM is quite interesting in that you can use the 11* chips it drops (only the banther ong chips) to trade for 11 star weaponry. Power and affix wise these weapons make no sense in the main game, but that's not where its strength lies - it's that they all contain a unique ability to be used at full power in es, completely bypassing the level requirements completely (when you don't meet the level requirement, you can only use a fraction of the weapon's power). Note that you can get this chip in the Normal difficulties too, so nobody gets left behind,, but you are required to have a number of active friends helping you out, otherwise this could get pretty difficult.
I haven't experienced any glitches since the update.
Now my game just softlocked after I called a friend assist.
That is, I can still move the cursor and click, but my only option is to exit the game by hitting escape, as there's just a white screen. I've had total freezes multiple times in the past (Which I blame on Bluestacks), but this is new...
If you don't mind me asking, what are you currently running es on?
Well, these weapons are in the 430-450 range. In comparison, I have a bunch of 10-12* katanas and they top out at around 350, as they are being power limited by levels (I can't even reach the levels needed at the moment - how the heck am I supposed to get to 82 when the max is 65?).
So to get all the free attack up Default Fo chip, you need to collect 400 chip first..
That makes perfect sense...
http://i.imgur.com/Guz4jcP.png
You actually get the first one for free, for a login campaign a while back. The second one, you get for getting 100 chips (not hard, can be done with free scratch). The 3rd one, is as you've brought up, obtained at 400 uniques.
...Oh my god, we are playing Megaman Battle Network.
That chip max level is 5, and chance to activat is Medium+

They also increased lv. of manual active chip to lv.9

Yeah, there are a bunch of weird bugs that Sega has acknowledged on the official website, including the one where you can't move and also where drops are not shown graphically during battles (you will see them after the quest ends).
Can't really complain though since they've compensated with Rappy Medals. :)
I believe 11* passive ability level max is now 6 - I had a maxed out Risa, but after the update, I merged one more, and it maxed out.
Still showing as lv.5 max
http://i.imgur.com/ezJgSvi.png
Out of curiosity, what's some of your higher damage output assuming a max atk boost, with your best chips (and with what class/level)?
I'm seeing around 1600's with hien tsubaki with lvl 65 braver. This is with an unlocked samurai and lisa (both ability lvl 1), 200-250 element, and usually a capped marlu friend chip. I use 6* katanas because due to proficiency they give me 7-10 atk more than orochi and bio, so I have 903 atk.
They also updated some of the abilities, and added Attack up to alot of the chips

I have been starting to play pso2es quite a bit recently, and seeing the Bantha Ong EQ has really caught my attention, I was curious, is there a way for me to know when this EQ will be scheduled or a way to get an alert ahead of time for it? Since I can't be signed in on both pso2 and pso2es at the same time I feel I will be missing this EQ :(
I tried doing some research and even created a twitter acount hoping that would have something, but I have had no luck, any help would be much appreciated.
Oh, nice to know, thanks. 6 hours will be very helpful, I figured it only ran for 1 hour at a time. I noticed there is maintenance on pso2 es tonight, so I assume the Bantha Ong EQ will start sometime shortly after.
Once the eq does start, or any other eq on es for that matter, such as the special rappy mission etc, is there any way to know ahead of time, like an alert or something? I just don't want to miss out on it since I mostly stay logged in on the pc version.
That only applies to PC/Vita. You get notifications for ES Rappy Quest and EM as they happen.
Thanks for the info, I am premium btw, and I play the game using bluestacks on my computer, but yeah I wasn't worried about pc/vita eq's, I just wanted to know about PSO2es specific eq alerts such as Bantha Ong.
Seems like the only way to know about Pso2es eq's then is to just sign in on es every hour then I assume, which kinda sucks.
Thanks for the info and help.
No need to sign on, just make sure you have your push notification options set to "on", as they are off by default. Then it's as simple as looking at your notifications in Android/iOS.
You find these in the options when you sign in, and can see your character details. (but not in the game interface itself)
It looks like this. [Though I can't read it to tell you what the options are. I just set it all on]
Spoiler!
EQ started, go nuts
This EQ isn't going to be fun.
Mostly because the Banther is probably the cheapest boss in the game between it randomly being able to do a instant 180 to attack you and spamming its instakill move.
Meeting the damage quota isn't an issue now that I have a Klotho chip.
It's surviving that's the main problem, since even though it doesn't use its instakill move, that pounce is virtually impossible to avoid on reaction, and impossible to avoid if you happen to be using a PA/technic when it does. It doesn't even have a tell for it, and the only thing can help dodge is knowing that it tends to attack twice in a row.
I have 2 loadouts for this fight. But I think I might leave my Twilight Quna chip out since that chip grants rather ridiculous levels of survivability (Attack power way up + healing 10% of all damage done.)
I can always switch between it and the Echo S chip. Just let me know.
Really, I don't have any problem surviving him, as his attack are easy enough to see and dodge, although unlike the snow banther, that has big open when doing the Ice breath, Forest Banther, when doing the pounce, seems to fall down for me if I dodge at a specific time.
And they added this tot he prize pool
