I have read this thread and for some reason missed this post. It wasn't until last night I noticed that on my Human Hunter that I could learn ranks of weapons I didn't know previously.

I agree. I'd be willing to help out but I'm only level 37, trying my best to just grind into higher ranked missions for cooler weapons :)

I'm using a 4* pair I got back in an open mission, but have yet to see anything better drop even while grinding in the next rank.

I would almost say that the level designs in PSO thru PSPo2 have all been the same. One forward path with maybe a few detours for treasures or more enemies to kill (like later Ruins in PSO).

Rushed through Part 3 and a bunch of Open missions that I got afterwards on the lowest rank.

That's cool, and I don't think that's slow at all. I'm going to ensure I'm several levels higher than the last boss as well so I don't get my butt whipped to badly.

When you say "beat the game" I assume you mean story mode? How long did it take and what was your level?

I just hit 20, been grinding normal missions and about to start the next rank.

That's good to know, however, on the opposite I have gotten nothing but weapons with Earth element, especially a good pair of Twin Sabers which I've fallen in love with.
