After hours of downloading missing files, I still got the same "pso2.exe has stopped working" error. So instead of deleting stuff and messing with things I don't know, I just uninstalled the game and...

I did actually. I'm ran the file checker (or whatever its called) and I had quite a few missing files so it's downloading them all now. I'll let you all know how it goes when it's finished.
