Please no. I sure hope they aren't gonna let 9*s be available at the NPC stores, all that would accomplish would be wrecking the player economy. Noone would be able to make those for less than 250K...
Because the line shield you're wearing absorbs damage way better than a clunky piece of knight's armor ever would. Much better having the extra mobility. Duh!...
If you cannot reuse the boards for, in this example Howrods, your average production costs change from:
Material costs/0.49 + 55000 to (Material Costs + 55000)/0.49, an increase of almost 57K...
That is true, to a degree. While each individual coinflip is 50%, the comulative odds of getting, say 5 heads in a row (or any specific sequence of 5 results) is 0.5^5 or 3.125%. There are 2^5 or 64...
True. because sample sizes are too small. But if you tried 100 times on a 79% synth you should get closer. However, repeated fails are at the least a statistical oddity, no? 5 failures at 61%, 5 at...
Well, I'd love to hear from somone who used the bug on the 360 since Friday and got a success afterwards. Because that would put the theory to bed.
From what I heard, the option to cancel a synth disappears once the timer has expired on PC/PS2.
The question is if this bug is a client side or server side issue. If it is client side, Sega would...
I am almost convinced now that the synth bug has been "fixed" on the 360. I've now had 5 failures on my Howrods (4 after retries) and 2 on Mayrods (1 retry). The odds for so many failures on a 100%...
Dunno, I am tempted to assume that Sega did fix the synth exploit on the 360. But not like on the PS2/PC, but in a more evil way, i.e. making the board repeatedly fail if you reuse.
The Howrod board...
That think is titled Phantasy Star Universe: "Illumines no yabou", which is, as you may already know the title of the Online story, Episode 2.
Looks like a disc containing an offline version of the...
I'm just glad the bug is there. Heck, boards shouldn't lose uses on failed synths in the first place. Even with a pure, costs for creating 8 star force and ragnger weaps are easily higher than store...
Well it wasn't fixed on the 360 version. I just cancelled a failed Howrod synth this morning, and am currently cooking the fourth attempt on that board...
Only recently started making Howrods. Got two out of my first board that sold for 250 and 260K respectively, third synth failed, currently cooking the fourth attempt on the board (YES the bug wasn't...
To get an idea how you sound with the 360 mic, record a voice message and listen to it. Sampling rate will be a bit lower than that, but it'll help you figure out proper volume.
I'll properly be...
Well, we're talking selling weapons for meseta profit here. A concept that doesn't really exist on your server. Very few people will pay you 200K for a 10% 9 Star Melee weapon.
Well, you can still try and sell them at cost or a little below and hope some noob buys them http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif
And anything that IS 20%+ you can sell...
So apparently Sega is going to patch the bug that allows you to reuse a board after a failed synth. But this bug shouldn't be a bug, it ought to be a feature, boards shouldn't lose uses on failed...
Well I have a different one:
I play my 360 on a projector. Now these projectors need to have their bulbs replaced every 3000 something hours. I had been getting a warning to change the bulb soon,...
For the storyline it is the same spell. The Japanese spelling for both is Me-gi-do, it is just the romanization that came out differently in PS2/4/O/U and PS3 (when do is the last syllable, the the o...
These PM evolution devices, do they only affect appeareance and battle behaviour? Or do they affect synthing as well? I.e. make your PM better at a certain type of weapon like Rods or Axes?
... and shouldn't have pointy tits and wear high heels either http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif
Finally got S on B as well. We had a Beast Fortefighter, Cast Fortegunner, Cast Guntecher and two Newman Forces. We got it in about 14 minutes 30 seconds. We could hav edone better though first block...
I didn't notice that at all. Thanks! Never had time to read what he babbles about.
On Mad Creatures there are a bunch of places that are glitchy, where enemies can't go but you can attack them. Look for the narrow corners. If you stand there, the Vahras can't reach you and you can...
