I am the source here, and no, it would be against the rules for me to discuss anything about anything. You're welcome to use a popular search engine to confirm that I'm not some random making up...
Pretty much. It works for the same reason a Japanese VPN works.
It's not just an idea, but whether its permanent or not, that's a different story.
It's not.
Sega has done its best to limit access to people located in Japan only. There's no telling if they plan to reverse the block or not, but it is there.
There is an intentional location ban currently in place by Sega.
Servers/ISPs are not blocking your connection. Get real.
This isn't speculation.
Strong double standards there considering the translators are just as much against the ToS as anything else.
I got it working, thanks. I'm guessing theres no hidden file to relocate the HP/TP bar to the middle screen? Everything else can be re-positioned.
The 64 bit bypass that was "on the snowfox site" doesn't work anymore, but it can still be easily bypassed.
PM'd you about it since posting would definitely get me banned here. While what I sent...
Because OSX is Unix based you can install Wine on it. Wine will run PSO on Linux, but your best option is to install a virtual version of windows 7 if you don't know what you're doing. Windows...
Gameguard is easily bypassed with a certain program. And a table could easily be built to automatically replace item names. The problem with this program is once it has bypassed gameguard, the user...
I'm trying to get it to run in in 5760 X 1080, the launcher options are showing 1920 x 1080 max. I already maxed the benchmark at 1920 x 1080 at 99999, trying to get it to work on my nvidia surround...
They were supposed to issue pro-rata refunds depending on how much time you had left on your license. Instead they're subtracting how much they're supposed to refund you from $10, and billing you...
There's no telling if anyone modding found the information from the page on the site I'm affiliated with or elsewhere. Its by no means a new method, and I'm sure others could and would have found out...
Modifying in game files is against Sega's ToS. They are very unlikely to ban or take disciplinary action for a translator but it is still a form of modifying the game outside of its normal parameters...
Placing an IP ban to stop hacking won't do anything other than stop legitimate players from accessing the game.
Anyone who has enough knowledge to mod the game can get around a regional based IP...
There would need to be a US release of the game first, as a Xbox 360 japanese only version would be very unlikely.
Even then, I wouldn't count on it coming to any current gen consoles.
Man, thank you! I really don't know what I was doing wrong. I copy pasted that directly from your post and it worked perfectly but when I was pasting from wikipedia it wasn't working.
I've been copy pasting symbols from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katakana
Every time I get this error 表示されている文字を全角カタカナで入力してください which translates to Please enter the full-width Katakana...
Yes sir. Thanks for the information
That's pretty cool. Have you guys checked to see if he can invite people now? If it works like that, then hopefully everyone who wanted in but didn't get selected can eventually get in.
Does anyone know if the person being invited needs to already have an account with Sega? Or can they make one when receiving the invite?
Thats a pretty big screw up... Does the friend card also have the person's sega ID on it?
There should be an elevator thing in the back
So if you guys had to guess, how many people would you say are online right now? And how is the server handling the load?
