This is a problem that various users, including myself, have experienced in the past. There are quite a few posts about it on SEGA's official PSO:BB forums, but their stickied FAQs offer little...
If you want to know how to change your refresh rate, follow these steps:
1. Hit the "Start" button, then "Settings," and "Control Panel."
2. Double-click "Display," then hit "Settings," then...
This should be able to help you with that: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/robin.d.h.walker/cmtips/ipaddr.html#dnsip
Earthlink should in fact work perfectly well. Coincidentally, Sega.net switched its customers to Earthlink subscriptions when they stopped offering their service. That's kind of irrelevant trivia,...
Please forgive me if this is an insulting question, as it's not intended to be. Also, if you answered it already in your post and I missed it, I apologize, for I'm quite tired myself!...
If you are running a Windows emulator on your Macintosh that is capable of running 3D applications, yes, you can run PSO:BB on a Mac.
One emulator, which requires the purchase of a Windows OS to...

Wow! This thread is still here! I'm flattered, to say the least. It's still one of my little pieces of internet immortality.
I actually found this while searching for my own information on Google...
You're right -- you can do that. ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) works with any kind of connection, including dial-up.
Although it's always good to lend a helping hand, this only applies to broadband users, not dial-up ones. If someone is referring to dial-up, they are using the GameCube version of PSO....
Since NetZero is a dial-up service, I am guessing that you're referring to the GameCube version of the game.
If this is so, then there really is nothing you can do. In order to prevent people from...
You might want to check this, and see if it helps:

There's a whole section in there about Error No.015....
You're right; you cannot do that.
You need to have 10,000 Meseta on hand, if I remember correctly. Or was it 100,000? Someone will be able to speedily correct me, no doubt -- it's been a while since I was in the Dressing Room....
We'll try to help you, if you can give us more information. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif Do you have an external modem? If so, is it USB, or does it use...
Yep, although, what are they charging for it? You can get them on eBay for obsurdly cheap prices.
"Repair" is a Windows XP option, which can be a lot of fun to use, but you are right, it is not in Windows 2000. You don't have to worry about your computer saying "Network Cable Unplugged", either,...
Although NewDotNet is not a virus nor a Trojan, it is definitely a nuisance, as aforementioned. However, if anyone does have it, do not be so alarmed as to believe your computer is "infected"; I do...
You could use a hub with PSO, but it tends to dislike them. Since a hub is essentially a bandwidth splitter/pass-through, I couldn't tell you why... but quite a few people have errors with them,...
As s3rial replied, you will need a router if you want to go online with both your PC and GameCube at the same time. However, if this is not necessary, then you can simply hook your GC BBA directly to...
Yes, PPPoE does work with PSO. The ideal way to connect with PPPoE is to connect your GC BBA directly to your modem. If that is not an option, or if you have a lot of problems, then you may want to...
Just to make sure:
Since you say you have ethernet leads, I imagine that you have an external ethernet modem. (If it is USB, please let me know.) A couple quick questions:
1. When you log on to...
Unfortunately, once a character is converted to v2, it cannot be used on v1 again. Also, any character created on v2 cannot be used on v1.
Basically, there is no backward compatability whatsoever....
Hmmm... I used to do a "cheap router" themed thread. Perhaps I should revive it? http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif If you want to get a router that...
