During the whole DDoS incident, my verizon DSL service always had access but my comcast service didn't up until about 6 weeks or so ago when I forgot to swop my router cable and connected via comcast...

Yeah, I can't login right now - all servers status unknown (Most likely servers are down right now)

The funny thing is...I logged on earlier and I actually forgot how to play. Besides, Its a hassle to use my backup service so I can wait until Comcast gets their act together and fixes it.

Basically, should be changed to the entire Verizon network seems to be fine now. So basically, Comcast needs to step up to the plate and fix it for their customers.

I highly suspect that it is a mere routing issue, because my backup DSL service connects with no problems.

I have Comcast Xfinity and as a backup, I have Verizon DSL. I finallly got around to hooking up my DSL to my computer, and - everything works perfectly.

Just don't use any free VPNs like softether, as you'll potentially expose your computer to malicious hosters that could steal information from you.

That isn't a good idea, since Sega would immediately be able to tell that your not in the .JP domains

I also have Verizon as a backup internet service...I'll try it later to see if I get any access.

Best thing to do for us peeps currently without access is to keep on bugging your ISP - I plan on contacting comcast again tomorrow - and the day after - and the day after that lol

I've been chatting with several networking techs all day, and all but confirmed there is a bad route, the problem is where its located.

Also, it is possible that the DDoS attackers discovered...

I'm starting to think maybe there is a bad route on the backbone that is causing the problem, and it is weird that it hasn't been fixed so far.

My android tablet connects to pso2.jp main page just fine, go figure that out. One thing I'm going to try later is to reset my IP address.

I'm still waiting for a response from comcast. I know for sure Comcast is definately blocking that website, because my tracert isn't leaving the PA comcast network period.

I can ping Yahoo.JP...

See the thing is, if you follow the tracerts - most are ending in blackhole filters, mine for instance isn't even leaving my state. So the hop that is being filtered is either on the comcast...

The comcast service I have, isn't in my name either. As long as you give them the proper information, its fine - go ahead and call them.
