The app doesnt need to run in Background,
you get notification until you deinstall the app or deactifate notifications via App->Settings->Permissions

If you set there a different Sound file it will also Change for the app.


Nah i mean that you can select a Slot of Windows-Sound... some might use the calender reminder and dont want to Change...

At the current time it is not supported from Win8.
