My main character is Whitill, and since I like Slicer-type weapons (especially for boss fights - De Rol Le just dies and dies and dies) it's great for my Hunter.
As far as Rangers go, however, the...
No, Luck just gives you a better chance of scoring a critical hit. It doesn't improve your accuracy with special attacks.
As I recall, it was indeed dependent on your section ID, but I think it was limited to a particular weapon *class* rather than one particular *weapon*. For instance, I remember purchasing (for...
Please read my posts before responding. I said "the original PSO on Dreamcast". That means *not* v2, but...the original. "V1" or whatever you'd like to call it.
And - in v1 (aka the original) -...
No, I'm talking about gold-colored CAPITAL TEXT honest-to-goodness rares. I see monogrinders etc. all the time.
As I said, on the original DC version you could find "real" rares in the shops. ...
I would say it sounds like your "bass-ackwards" playstyle is superior to your husband's. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif
I use the living daylights out...
Sad indeed. No problem, though - it just inspires more rare hunting in vhard (and, once I reach lvl 80 or so, ultimate).
No comments, or no rares? http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif
I remember in the original Dreamcast PSO rares would occasionally show up in the item shops (Blade Dances, etc.) Does this still happen in GC PSO? I'm a lvl 73 HUmar (Whitill) now, on vhard Ruins,...
My suggestion is for you to try and get on a *local* ISP, rather than MSN or whatever. Just don't choose AOL - apparently there are problems with PSO over AOL.
I stick with the regular old PSO music.
Daggers and slicers.
I personally own a GameCube and a PS2. I used to have a GBA as well, and I kick myself every time I remember that I sold it. I want Fire Emblem, dangit!!!
I would stick with GC if I were you. I...
I'd recommend FOnewm or FOnewearl over the FOmarl if you're going to want to dish out damage. FOmarls absolutely rock for support techniques. FOnewearls get a damage bonus with the basic techs...
Well, I finally got my Musashi, after a few more runs. Cron has also already found two Flowen's Swords off Nano Dragons in the Hard Caves. I love Skyly. I can't *stand* Whitill. I must have done...
I'm currently using a DB's Saber, thanks to a few General/Power units. Would you say the Musashi is better?
Yamato looks great but I'm having trouble beating (Hard) Dark Falz with my main...
Oooooookay. If I kill the Hard Dragon *ONE MORE TIME* and he drops *another* Trifluid, Sol Atomizer, or Trap Vision, I'm going to scream, scream, scream.
Cron, my HUcast, is lvl 26, id Skyly. ...
I've found that Brady Games makes the best strategy guides. Their guides for Diablo II and Final Fantasy X were simply outstanding. And *FAT*, too - they make you feel like you're getting your...
You're right - that's a good idea. Most FAQs out there seem to assume a higher level of familiarity with PSO than a beginner might have. The PSO GC manual is very helpful, but it doesn't answer...
Actually, when you start the game in hard mode and go to the transporter you now should see two options: "forest 1" and "caves 1". Just choose "forest 1". You'll have to go all the way through the...
Well, the thing is... the hard-lvl Dragon *can* drop Musashi. He doesn't always do it - the drop scheme has an element of randomness to it. It's worth going back and killing him again a few times...
I'm also having a ball playing offline. None of my chars are to the point where they're finding rares yet (except the odd Photon Drop or AddSlot) - I've been playing them pretty equally, so there...
On Kabuki (FOmar lvl 13) I took one of the black robes (the one with red highlights - I think it's the second one), broadened his shoulders a bit, and gave him the kind of evil-looking painted face...
The people anticipating the Xbox version are, for the most part, folks who already own an Xbox and *don't* own a Gamecube. That's really the bottom line. Folks talk about "cool features this" and...
RedFox, I like your modification of the original idea. Think I'll try it out.
