Except it is. Its a 1.4ghz power pc cpu paired with a low end dx10 equvilant to that of the 360's gpu. The only area the Wii would have an advantage is its 2Gb of ram is massively bigger than ps3's...

Its 2005 hardware at 2005 prices in 2012. Thats it issue. Being able to play the games I can play on my 7 year old xbox and ps3 isnt impressive and it sure as hell isnt impressive at $350.

PSO2 is playable on pc hardware from 2003/4 this game is pathetically easy to run with a decent video card.

The gameguard not working was total a compiling issue and sega not bundling the right gameguard kernal for win 8.

I'd recommend a cheap used 9600 if that pc has a pci-e slot. I'd pay around $50 max for it.

In the alpha versions you could remove gameguard completely and it would load on linux. Theres some videos on youtube of this. In fact I believe every version up until open beta worked with gameguard...
