I completely forgot they don't offer Broadband in my area, and I have no intentions of getting it even if they did. I...
There's still no word whether Xbox PSO is a port or features anything from Episode 1 & 2. Maybe it will feature 10 characters, just not any of the three in E1&2.
According to the very respectable (and trustworthy) German gamesite, http://www.gamefront.de:
Wouldn't suprise me if it was true. They did sad they'd start work on PSO Xbox after the Gamecube...
I paid 88.50 UK pounds for the game, modem and D-Direct stickers, artwork and cards.
That equals roughly 137.00 US dollars. I own a modded Japanese Cube, which cost me the equivalent of 386.00 US...

You'd have a case for that argument, if it wasn't for people actually going through the lobbies to play in games.
...
http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif Of course, but in my experience the good outweighed the bad. Or atleast with the people I chose to play with. I always saw PSO...
I thought ahead. No way was I waiting all that time for Inforgrames to eventually release it, online-play support taken out.
So I went over to http://www.Lan-Kwei.com and ordered myself a modded...
We'll see... but it was Sony who put all their eggs in one basket and was left with online-only FFXI falling way below expectations. Atleast PSO has a shot at the offline market, and I see it doing...
Despite it being a rather shallow, slash-fest, I'd still rank PSO (in its heyday) over any other online game I've played (PC or console). There's a certain atmosphere and touch to PSO which you just...
Kind of ironic then that in Japan, where both PSO DC and FFXI PS2 have been released and PSO has proved much more popular, even on the DCs paltry userbase.
Oh, and here's proof of PSO on the...
Parn makes a good point. The game is a much better candidate for a stand-alone mutliplayer/one-player game this time 'round. I'm going to predict around 750,000 worldwide, and 350,000 registered...
Japan doesn't like First Person Shooters, so that's why Halo (and Xbox) performed so poorly at retail. And Halo received respectable scores. Famitsu gave it a 9, 7, 8, 9, which is very good.
...
Well, raw scores do serve a purpose, in that they give an outline of how good the reviewer thought the game was. All summed up in a single number.
The issue isn't available until tommorow, and I...
Highly respected (and very popular) magazine Famitsu has reviewed Phantasy Star Online Episode 1 & 2 on the Nintendo Gamecube. Scores of 9, 9, 8, 9 were given, meaning it gets an overall 35/40 and a...
Nah, that's just basic Amazon. The game isn't out yet and one site offering a 15% mark off the original price is not the same as a RRP.
Go into the hundreds of Japanese stores on the launch and...
I just checked over at Amazon.co.jp and the Nintendo BBA is the best selling videgame related item with PSO at #7. Hopefully the game will be as popular (if not more) as the original was in Japan.
On a somewhat unrelated note: Isn't is funny how some people feel the need to bring their significant other and drop the note they have a girlfriend into every other message when posting on message...
Secret option 10: Troubled childhood?
Secret option 11: You're gay and like to express your inner-self through a role-playing game?

I found them both on this page, which is Sonic Team's Official Japanese site. I thought the first was the old box art, and the new one below (which is rumoured to contain the game and modem in a box)...
Even worse, last I checked Bill Gates' company wasn't publishing PSO, and I doubt much of the money spent on an inidividual copy will go to Gates's pocket...
With that said I'm now hoping for many long talks and debates surrouding important and thought-provoking subjects.
Don't you people dissapoint!

... courtesy of NEWTECHNIX. If these have been posted or are old just say and I'll delete the topic. And it looks like PSO Episode 1 & 2 is getting some serious coverage from Japanese mags.
Here...
Yeah, the director of PSO E1 & 2 said in an interview on Xengamers they were expanding on Challenge mode (probably because it was such a hit on V2). You can probably do a Google seach and find the...
Sonic Team don't have any say in the release in the US. Sega of America do.
