That's strange huh....i thought enemy's head has extra multiplier on all attacks (and is considered a weakpoint)
but let's assume that it's as you say, head only has extra multiplier for ranged...
I under stand most of these.

what about multihit PA without hold? things like brand new star and jetwheel multi hits for example. The gear gain is also per hit? Not the full gear gain value as...

what about rising slash though? i wonder if you hold the button then it continuously gain gear without penalty because it counts as 1 PA not repeating.
I use all 3 weapons
and sword/talis normals actually gain alot of gear, sword normals in particular gain more gear than any of sword's PA.
what really bugging me is that if they have penalty or...
something I've been wondering about.
do normal attacks receive the same gear gain penalty as PAs when you repeat them?
a friend of mine gained more gear than i did and he only spammed normal...
if you stay talis, it's calculated using your t-atk
if you switch to sword, it's calculated using your s-atk
from that video, it seems like we should only repeat the same PA every 20 seconds to minimize gear gain penalty?

JA is actually 3~4 frames faster than hold on sword normals.

u can see that both started at the same point, but JA attacks...
I tried out sword normals JA and nonJA(hold) but it seemed like the speed when JA isn't that much lower?
Does 6F ~ 12F JA applies to all attack?
I wonder if you actually even gain any gear with normal attack at all?
