you can go back to normal Mode in order to meet Dr.Montague.
If you ever finished the "Dr.`s secret Plan"-Quest, you will meet Dr. Montague in "Dr.Osto`s Research". He will show up on Pioneer2...

Oh well...same goes for the Weaopn you get in the WEPOANS-Quest...in some FAQs, they warn you about that.

After you logged in, there should appear "Ship Select" and "Download".
After you clicked on "Download" the Quests will be listed (Currently only "Letter from Lionel")

What do you mean? The latest Release before "Win Back" was "Defeat" and these Quests working for the US-PSO as well.
Same goes for that downloadable offline Quest "Letter from Lionel".

Since my Soul Eater got stolen last week, i tried to do the Quest on Hard-Mode again.
It didn`t work on Normal, so i really wondered if i would find the Black Hound on Hard.
Fortunately, it works....

Anyways, there`s still alot left to do for a mxed out Character, like finding Disks wih higher Spells like Megid or Special Weapons.

No additional EXP though.

Zeyk is right.
If a DC still reacts to an unplugged Phone-Line, there`s a good chance it reacts to a soft reset as well. That`s what i always do in situations like this and for the same reason....

Here is my Gun Breakdown:

Handguns : Rangers will only go with them in low Levels, because the very first Rifle-style Guns are a bit slower and because of the yet lower ATA more difficult to aim...

I guess these Suggestions were made, because having a Character who can take more Damage and brings a good mellee-Power than a Ranger would be a nice Change.
But don`t forget about the Force...
