The term you're looking for is "on by default."
The only thing forcing you to use the proxy is if you cannot connect normally.
The off switch for both is right in the menu if you choose to disable...

now it looked for a RAR only...

I think your experiencing one of the black screens of the story patch.
Dig around the story patch thread, might find something to confirm what your seeing.

I think ppl see the pop up dialogue and instead of reading the error just panic at the pop-up...

hmm...maybe rewording/adding a disclaimer to that pop-up would help =w=;

Try this: put the tweaker in the folder with the files that were created from the old tweaker. Cause mine didn't stop at the error and continued to update everything.

Hey Aida, just a suggestion if things ever blow up again, make the tweaker say that the file hosting site can't handle the epicness. Would thin down the number of panicked ppl posting here.

For the dewman stuff...its probably not set in all parts yet cause I saw at the cosmetic counter it being translated...If I recall.

Read a few posts back, everyone crashed the server cause of the demand aka the server is not capable of handling the tweaker's awesomeness.
