For some weapons, they do a lot of damage outside of thier PA's allowing you to "ride" the PP recharge. Spears to some extent are very good in this aspect.

Yea people still do this but that doesn't really take away from the initial problem with not having luck on your main character. If you wanna farm with it, well you better have high luck >_>.
