You can get that in the JP version too, when you're level 165+.
It also has a chance to drop the Yiel line, which is one of the best armours in the game.

Haven't been playing much, but did 10 x Gemaga today.
Got quite a few rank 13 items from there, like 5 at least, which is a lot for my standards, but none are worth keeping.

Also saw a Serpentine...

I think he hits harder too, although that might be my imagination. Not sure since I've only seen him a few times.
His attacks look a bit different too, like when he does the chop, it has a red glow...

BR lvl 19 now, 1 more for that last ability slot.

Usual junk drops like Lightning Espada, and the rank 13 dagger/rods in Gemaga.

Finally some progress again, didn't really have much time to play the last few days.
Switched to Braver after I got Hunter to 30, since I don't like to see MP wasted.

It should come from Gemaga at high levels, although I don't see why you want it if you've already got the former.

I also think that the drop rates have been changed, because of several reasons.

1) Some of the veterans of this board who've played the JP version for a long time and are now playing the US...

Finally S rank earth mirage blast.
Been running that Burning Snow mission for ages, the drop rate on this is abysmal, or my luck is abysmal (those god damned squids!).

Been spamming various...

Do Galdeen even spawn in either of those missions? I can't remember seeing them there (just Bel Pannon :argh:).
But this seems like more proof that SEGA messed with the drop tables in the western...
