How does one 'upgrade' the rarity of their pet again?

I'm not, but I got 13* eggs and shit sitting in storage. What the hell else am I to do with them? :/

I need to be rid of these eggs taking up character storage space... so what is the recommended personality I should get for each pet?

Also, I assume all pets should be light element?
