I don't think a 2 second charge does not keep it's insane damage in check. Especially since it allows you to stay out of range of enemies then jump back into them since it's a leap.

I find average stance really good once you start doing AQ's and extremes personally, but weak is still the best one overall for anything actually difficult. Both stances are great to have.

I'm not sure if any PA outdamages your autoattack durning katana combat because your auto-attack already hits super hard, and it speeds it up to pretty much double speed.
