I didn't have to download an update but yet I can get on.

Just pointing this out, Gameguard doesn't like the item translation patch now. (well for me, getting NP1015) Game was able to launch fine without it.

I'm still hoping for a no gameguard patch.

Now find a way to make a no gameguard patch then this will be perfect.
