The reviews are right in saying that a lot of high end cards are CPU bottlenecked, but if you look at reviews this only usually happens at low resolutions, once you get up to 1600x1200 or higher than...
PCIe cards are barely able to use all that an 8x bus can supply, dual 16x PCIe is nothing more but marketing at the moment and you won't see any advantage at all.
As for the CPU, if you will...
Partions are your friend, I can format and reinstall my system partion in less time than it would take to troubleshoot and fix the problem at hand.
If you have to back up your data before you can...
Even if you could boot PAL ICO on your US PS2, US TV's don't like PAL or 50hz scan rate so you wouldn't get a picture, or if you did it would be black and white and/or unstable.
Comparing the 7800's to ATI's last gen cards is hardly fair. Wait till ATI's next gen card is out(which should be the end of this month) and then compare the 2.
Also with the X2's AMD easily...
The only thing I could think of that may be causing the problems is that since you installed jp pro 2nd, it may have installed the jp bootloader which could be affecting things, but I'm not 100% sure...
As long as each copy has its own drive or partition everything should be fine. If properly set up in multiboot then each copy of XP shouldn't even know the other existed.
Sounds like the boot files aren't where the computer thinks the master boot record is.
You need to boot off the windows 2000 disk like you were going to install it, but instead choose repair at...
Just because your card has 256MB of RAM doesn't mean it's any good. It's a great marketing trick, they pair a slow card with lots of ram in order to make people think their card is better than it...
US plugs don't have fuses, I don't think they are earthed either.
The GC is quite a bit less powerfull than the xbox, yet it is still capable of games like RE4 and the new zelda, Nintendo is right in a way, it's not how much power you have, but how you use it.
N64 had cartridges that were 512mb Revolution has 512MB
Meaning the biggest N64 cart was only 32MB, not half a gig like Revolution has built in.
Depends what the person did, and if it's the same thing they did last time or something different.
If it's a repeat of the same mistake, or if it's bad enough, then no I wouldn't give a second...
I can run 6xAA and 16xAF on BB without issue so meh
That happens if you use a 3rd party refresh rate fix, such as refresh force, try disabling that and using the built in refresh rate override built into the ATI control panel.
Try with 16x AF, BB is capped at 30fps so I'm sure it won't affect your frame rate much, especially considering you can run 4xAA
That version is old, there are much newer versions, with more features available at

AGP speed is only for transfering textures, if you have enough onboard RAM then the AGP bus isn't used for transfering textures, hence very similar performance.
The FX5500 just isn't that powerful...
It's an xbox port, if it was a GC port, it would have lots more effects, better water, heat haze etc.
Processing method and draw speed? They are using the DirectX API just the same as 100's of...
AGP 4x will make not one bit of difference, especially with 256MB of RAM onboard, AGP transfers are only used when the onboard video RAM is full, which in your case won't happen.
The FX series...
You should really turn on anti-aliasing.. Jaggies aren't nice, some anisotropic filtering wouldn't hurt either :P

BS the card is MUCH worse than a 9800, plus it only has a 64 bit memory bus, the support card list doesn't mean a whole lot, I mean shit, it doesn't list my X850XT, but you honestly think it will run...
I'd avoid that video card personally, it will run, but on the lowest settings, which look like crap, and since PSO isn't the best looking of games, would you really want it looking worse?
FAT32 or NTFS file system? If FAT32, then yeah that's a problem with that filesystem and why the replaced it.
It did just that on DC, it used to drain 120 hp AND tp per bullet.
