If you only want one 12* unit you can use extended Tian/Austere set and a leg unit. Izane vs Ray/Union depends on how much you value HP/Def/Resists vs PP and 5 RAtk.

Just in case anyone is curious, it takes 20,500 (lol) less exp to get 5 class cubes from one level up at 80 versus leveling up 5 times at level 75.

Ray's SAF is Astral Soul. Judging by the preview vid, Union has more attack than Ray but less than Gix/Astra (the Union sword in the vid had 115 more attack than Ray).

Can't answer the first two, but I know for sure that Divine Raikou drops from SH/XH Magatsu since I have one and I've never done Magatsu below SH.
