upgrading help

i was wondering why does my 7 star Hanzo sword brake every thing i upgrade the fifth time, although its said to be just depends and random luck so i try again and again after reloading the file it still brakes so those another weapon i have after the forth upgrade
can anyone help me with this
if i synth. a grinder s to get a s+5 grinder will it still fail.

You no longer break weapons in the expansion, just waste grinders on unsuccessful grinds.

Possibly, I'm not sure.

Though it's still better than breaking the weapon then fail the next 3 to ??? synthing attempts trying to make a new one, only to have that break too when you go to grind it.

imon extra mode so yes single player.
i got it to fifth upgrade i think i need to make moer of grinder s+5 or higher if it can go higher

I for one look forward to emptying my wallet for girders. Save your +10s kids! They are going to be worth a fortune! I find it funny how people bitch about getting Grinder Base A now. They are going to eat those words when AoI is released.

extra mode weapons can't get higher than +5...if you try to grind them more they will systematcaly break.
This being said after you see the stat gain from 4 to 5 griding weapons more is actually pointless(and impossible anyways)
