I need a long lasting multiplayer game.

I have a friend coming over for a month (this means I won't be on much), and I'm all out of multiplayer games. So, to compinsate, I need a friggen' awesome multiplayer game that we can play all the time, preferably co-op since I tend to beat him most of the time anyway. Something along the lines of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicals would be perfect, except with a multiplayer mode that isn't insane to start (seriously, each player needs a GBA? And DSs don't work? WTF?). PSO is another choice, and it may work well.

Are there any other long multiplayer co-op games like this? If not, are there any other multiplayer games that would last us a month, with both of us being able to play at all times?

For GCN, LOtR:The Third Age was fun. RPG...
Other than that.....i guess Tales of Sypmphonia's kinda decent multiplayer system works (did for us at least)

Dynasty Warriors/Samurai WArriors was a really fun multiplayer game. played for hours! Sadly, it got kinda boring after a bit. Same lvls over and over....
Gauntlets is also a good title for multiplayer action.

When my cousin comes over for a month+, we usually bring out the ol' SNES and N64. Mario party FTW. Even though they are old, they occupy us for hours.
for some reason, game companies tend not to make co-op game very often. Its lame. I would have said Final Fantasy CC, and Legend of Zelda the Four Swords......but you need GBA;s for that.

For a great GBA multipayer game would be Link to the Past: The 4 Swords; but it depends on your taste.

If you've got a 360, try getting some games that allow 2 player online like Halo 2 or Gears of War.

For a DS, it isn't too much of a good game by yourself, but with friends Children of Mana can be a lot of fun. I'd try that out.

Even better, Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventure for the GCN. I had a blast playing that game.
