Sega Girls - figurine line(PSII Nei and Red Ring Rico)

Got my latest issue of Toy Fare the other day, and saw these featured in it. It's a line of figures of girls from various Sega games by a company named Yujin. Series 1 is Nei from Phantasy Star II, Red Ring Rico Tyrell from PSO, and some chick named Ramaya from a game called Arabian Fight. Only offered at comic shops via Diamond Comics.

These guys have been around for a while in Japan.
Either that, or they had a really similar set with Rico in it, but it had more (non ps) related chars as well.

I think these are around the same size as the gashapon set, where it had 1 figure for every 'stock character' (bernie kireek etc) I wish there were comic stores in my area so I could try to get it. I know that every once in a while they'll show up on ebay, but it can get expensive.

It is great to hear that someone's finally making an attempt to bring cool game related toys to the usa other than like mario and doom.
I hope if anyone gets it, they should post here to see if its cool or not.

As AzureBlaze said, these figures have been out for a while. You can buy them from US-based shops. The price for a set seems to vary from $16 to $25.

I got mine through Ebay like last year. I only got Nei and Ramaya. Nei's claw broke when she fell off my table. -.-

I don't have a tabular date when they were made, but you are right that they are from the Sega Gals collection which includes either 6 to 8 figurines.

And a couple others that I don't remember. I wish they made a Blaze Fielding from the game 'Burning Knuckle' or better known in the US as 'Streets of Rage' though. :/
