I have heard of a way to get 6 pouifully slimes in a room (pre splitting). Is this possible? Also, I was wondering if a pouifully slime kills a pouilly slime with it's tail, does the pouilly slime still have a chance of dropping the item, since you did not kill it?
I does not matter what kills it, any monster can drop an item under any circumstances of death.
As for the 6 Pofuillies, I have no idea.

Since you had to keep the Pofuilly Slimes alive when splitting, it should be fine.
For the 6 Slimes, you can split 2 Pofuilly Slimes to get 8 (in multiplayer mode, "Addicting Foods", and "Soul of a Blacksmith", there is a room w/2 Pofuilly Slimes). Splitting Slimes for a Human, cast Rabarta when the Slime pops up. For an Android, use a ???? Weapon (Ie: ???? Arms), and use the Special Attack 2 times, and on the 3rd hit of the combo use a regualr attack, so the Slime will split. If you miss 2 times on a slime and hit it on the 3rd combo hit, it will always split.
When you use a robot it's oddly harder. None the less it's still possible.

i read somewhere that "Letter From Lionel" has 6 slimes but you have to do some piping glitch to get behind a big rock. Once in the room though there is supposedly 6 slimes there.
Yeah. I have tried that and i made it to the room past the rock, but the most i found ini a room was 2.
