Which Is Stronger

Who would be strong beast fortegunners or CAST fortegunners i have been arguing with my friend about this, if you can can you compare the states to if you can calculate them ty

Strongest would be the beast fG, but the most efficient is the cast fG.

The bonuses casts get to fG bring the stats pretty close

Casts make good use of ATP but also excellent use of ATA. Beasts only make use of the ATP.

Depends on the weapon.
Crossbows are probably the strongest ranged weapon but it doesnt have great accuracy Cast would be stronger with it.
Others have more than enough accuracy and Beast would be stronger with them

Why use Crossbow's as an example? People seem to forget that FG specialises in the BIG guns: Rifles, Grenade Launchers, Shotguns etc.

Beast fG 90/10 - ATP:790, ATA:496
Cast fG 90/10 - ATP:753, ATA:698

The answer is: depends on the player and the equipment.

Stat-wise, you can't really really tell. The beast has +37 ATP so he will hit harder but not by much.

The cast has +202 ATA on the beast so he will see less 0s than the beast to make up for the damage lost to lower ATP. But ATA is broken in this game so even though 202 is a big number the difference in accuracy between cast and beast fG won't be big at all.

It depends on the weapon, really, because of the way ATA works. On weapons with a low ATA mod and low stat, such as crossbows, the 120 or so ATA difference between Casts and Beasts ends up being around a 10-15% accuracy drop while as a Fortefighter, the 90 or so ATA difference is only a 1-4% drop since melee weapons add so much more.

So, yeah, if you’re using a bow, card, or rifle the Beast can outdamage or keep up with a Cast, but otherwise the Cast has a clear advantage in damage/time. Similarly, a Cast can surpass or keep up with a Beast using axes or double sabers.

I’m assuming you’re defining stronger as highest damage/time, not base ATP. If it’s simply base ATP, the Beast always wins.

It all depends on the equipment, as ne1first said, if you get your hands on something like a solid power, I would go with a cast just because of the accuracy already on it, but it still depends on preference.
