::ok, cant get ps2 online::

ok so, i have the ps2 slimline, and i'm trying to set up online mode for psu and everytime it tests the connection, it fails.

i have the eithernet cord plugged into my laptop, that is using a wireless setup. do i have to plug into a routter or is it something else?

Did you configure your PS2 online system?

i did using the psu disc..do i have to do it anotherway too?

No i don't think so. Are you using an old either net cord?

no, i bought it around x-mas of last year.

Hmm....check if theres any dirt in the plug.

Well all i can think of thats left is your IP might be messing with it. What is your IP set on anyway?
