some people like ikk hikk, I think the best balance of power and mobility is bogga robbado, costs 75 frags I think, so it might take you a while to get it. t is my favorite. MIght I suggest you to get a pair of twin claws and get renzan seidan-ga, extremely powerful, I'm sure many will agree its the best out there.

And don't be afraid to try a class just because it's popular. The class is popular for a reason, because its easy to use and pretty strong.

Agreed. Although, I'd go with fighgunner. Support TECHs are low ad pretty much useless on WT, and I don't think attack ones would be much better for a CAST. So you'd mostly be doing melee, and there are better classes for that, unless you want WT's specific weapon selection. PT, I don't really care for it. It's fun to play with though.

WT was the first advanced class i started my cast on, it worked great for quite some time, it's great for soloing etc. saves money for the most part because you can heal and buff yourself you can take a hit as WT too because of it's great dfp, only real drawback is it doesn't excel in anything, techs are pretty weak, and physical attacks are sub par.

Fighgunner was my second class on my cast and i stuck with that for a long time until AF came out. fighgunner is strong and and can take a hit, has pretty good accuracy. you get a great weapon choice and can pack the power to back them.

protranser is a pretty great class too. they may not have the greatest damage but with your weapon choice you can deal some pretty decent damage. most of what PT has is suppression tactics. they can hold a group of enemies at bay while the rest of the party destroys them.
i haven't played PT myself but my friend does and he's a great deal of help in a run.
My life is much more groovy than love.

I'd say go for what you think you would like to use in a class.

I recommend leveling the class up as far as possible before making a decision on it. Protranser and Wartecher I found to be frustrating raising from the ground up, but once they are 10+, its alright. Every level after that puts in more stat that you will really want for those classes, since they need as much as they can get.

I feel like I'm going to enjoy WT a lot. I'm sticking with it even though it is difficult to start. Is there an easy way to level buffs?

buff party, just tell yourself when you get bored, it would take twice as long if it weren't for the pa rebalance.

If you want to be considerd a support carecter in full be a protanser (sorry for misspell)
If you want to be able to fight your own fights and be considerd an assult be a fighgunner
If you want to be able to fight the good fight and also be looked to for support be a wartecher (peice of advice do not use Technics for offensive get a me or har quick and use technics for buffing and healing only) use the melee for offensive.

wartecher is best for a low budget you can get a decent deva-zashi for 200k O.o

i wouldn't be a WarTecher if you were a CAST anyway Casts are suppose to be ranger specialist and wartecher has nothing to do with ranging

If you go with WT I agree that it's best to just use spells for support, although I recommend another class if you're just interested in fighting. At least until support spells go to 30 for WT, maybe it will be better then. I have a level 130 female newman I've been getting levels into WT on and using damage magic with them does not bring spectacular results. PT is fun because of traps but the low attack power really kills some peoples drive to stay with it. Stats in PT also look really bad at lower levels (I still love my PT though). FighG is also a good time with a great selection of weapons, which gives you ranged options other then a handgun. FighG is also pretty cost effective to get a decent palatte for if the prices haven't skyrocketed since I sold my old FighG gear.
Getting bored of the typical MMO, enjoying muddling through moonspeak on PSO2.
