This game will surely dethrone WoW

Theres not really a whole lot to go on here, since it was just announced today! Though some people have been throwing rumors about it left and right based on a countdown time that appeared on Cryptic Studio's Website along with the same time on Champions website.

The Screenshots seem a little dated, but they could have been working on this for quite sometime. I'm not a Trekkie or much of a fan of the series, though I'm sure some of the people here on PSO-W are.

I wouldn't expect Star Trek Online to dethrone WoW on the simple principle that both franchises target a different market. Granted, there's a great deal of overlap in the audience of Science Fiction and Fantasy Adventure, but that overlap is far from total. I'd say that it has a greater chance of squashing PSU, than having a significant impact on WoW.
