That's possible, except the chance of 95% of 1000 grinders coming out as +6 or better is a bit more than chance, imho.

Especially considering the fact that multiple friends have tested it out and gotten near identical results.

EDIT: Not to mention, no one that has tried this method has gotten any results to contradict the theory. 24-28 seconds seems the key baking time. It wont' guarantee +10's, but it'll diminish your chance at getting +1-5's by a large margin. But that time is based off of normal synth rates, I don't know how the bonus affects synthing grinders (if it does at all) or if it changes the cycle time or where in the cycle it starts when you begin synthing.
