Ummm What's wrong with Yak Zagenga

So I got this crossbow PA yesterday and according to the description, it's suppose to drain your HP for every shot landed. That's fine and all day yesterday, my HP was going down little by little. Right now I have it at level 6 and it's not draining my HP anymore. I went through the Mines level using it and my HP was still the same. I double checked to see if it was equipped to my bow and it is.

It doesn't drain HP, lol.

The bullet gets stronger the lower your HP is.

It even says on the Bullet's stat page "Pwr affected by HP." >_>
