Possible to miss weapons?

I was looking through my Rod collection and I noticed that I don't have "Slyrod".

I checked here and it says you get it from Story chapter 4.

Is it possible to buy it from the shops or do I have to start over again to get it?

it's probably in the shops, check Yohmei often for it ;o

You can buy EVERY C and B rank GRM/Yohmei/Tenora weapon from the Colony weapon shop, as well as B and A rank Kubara copies. Just keep doing missions to reset it if what you want isnt there. After you finish story mode the Shops on each of the planets will only stock A rank weapons if they make upto A rank (eg. Yohmei shop will sell B rank shotguns)
