Just a tip for those who don't know and attempt beating harder difficulties with lower characters. If you often find yourself with lack of healing or magic-restoring items in boss fights, you can always buy 10 of whatever item, go to the boss, drop them 3 at a time and then purposely die. Then you can buy more to repeat the process or just to fight the boss. The next time you go fight him, the items will still be where you dropped them. That's what I did at lower levels and its helpful.

Yea but that wouldnt work online...every one who uses magic would take what you droped and every one would take the mates so really it doesnt help.
well that depends on the group you have, but this tip was meant for people clearing offline and having difficulty, nobody else.
Will it work on Dal Ral Lie? You know, being on the move and all...

Some of you aren't understanding what Tryce was trying to explain. This tip has existed since way back on the DC with version 1.
What you do, if you find you run out of mates or fluids during a boss battle, is drop them in the field and die on purpose. Whatever you dropped will still be there when you come back (assuming you didn't quit or leave the team). You can do this repeatedly until you have enough (or believe you have enough) items to last through the battle. Then when you fight the boss you can pick up the extra items you left on the ground to replenish your supply.
