Looks interesting, i like these sorts of games. and i'm always looking for the perfect decent f2p fantasy game. I will give this a try.

I'm in the beta... they picked 5,000 people, and will randomly let us play the game.

Then, in about a month or so, the open beta will begin, and everyone can play freely.

I'm still waiting my turn, for my chance to try it.

The client takes forever to download, because they use a torrent-like system to deliver it.

So, the less people seeding, the slower it goes.

I've always said what Mewnie Mini-beast just did, that the 'F2P' tag usually indicates a red flag about certain aspects of an MMO. I've found it's mainly the community that suffers the most, since any and everyone of all maturity levels can participate effortlessly. That being said, though, I still like to try out games like this to pick out those diamonds in the rough that can provide some good now-and-then entertainment, ya know? PSU is that kind of game for me~

Now let's see if I can get into this beta~

Well, for me, F2P has three stages: Closed Alpha, Open Alpha, and a year or two of beta. Then, and only then, is the game in any sort of truly playable fashion.

Also, I've noticed with translated games, that the English version seems to have the EXACT same issues as the original did, and patches them in at about the same point in time. WTF?

...And complete localizations almost never happen when they say they will. Come to think of it, I always figured these things are in open beta forever. ;3 I never play them long enough to see them get past that point, tbh~
