Ummmm...thats what happens with FSOD you only get corrupted if your saving and it freezes.

I've been FSODed twice and due to a disc error (had to exchange the disc) I had to shut off the game at least six times while online. I haven't lost a damn thing, after six lockups and two FSODs, damn I'm lucky.

My game froze when it was saving and when i turned it back on to check it, it was fine.
