PSO/PSU Anime? (Discussion)

Anyways, back to the topic. Yeah I would like to see them make an anime of how PSO and PSU are connected. Like start the story of PSOBB and then make it's way to how Falz reached PSU. With a whole new epic story that takes place in the space between spaces.

Then It could end up starting Episode 4, in game. O.O

Well, I would likely use formulas that break typical anime convention. I'm like that, you know. I learn the typicals, perhaps mock it, and then veer a totally different direction. Well, unless the whole storyline is designed to mock convention, then I would follow it to a tee but with an attitude where it doesn't take itself too seriously and mocks the cliche.

I'd definitely involve the Six Square Circus in it, but not as a central plot device. More or so, to serve as backstory available for some characters and to dress up the universe that the story takes place in. Mine would involve different story circumstances from what is used in the game, and would link the events of PSO as events in a past history of human,newman,cast existence. Partly to try to link the advancements in Casts between the days of Dr. Montigue and PSU.

XD that would be nice but who would be the main character of the anime.... maybe some new character.... yea and the other character from both pso and psu would be in it XD that would be nice.

As in starting a game from it idk.... would it be pso like or psu like..... i see that being a problem. (though i'd like it more of psu like when it come to class and character creation)

I'm with Cracka. I'd only watch a PSU anime if it involved the characters beating each other to a bloody pulp with large, blunt objects, minutely.

Otherwise I can get an equal amount of enjoyment and character development by sticking my head up my own ass.

I personally think an anime version of PS4 would be much much better source material. Hoever, since this is about PSU, then I'd hope it would be something that would still relate in some way to the story of the game, like what happens to Ethan after PSU ends (i.e. his experiences during Episodes 2 and 3), or if a certain fleshy person survived the colony's impact somehow, or...... heck, make it a comedy and make it about the Vol Brothers and how they amassed enough of a fortune to create the casino.

Or like some of you guys suggested, make a brand-spanking-new character and introduce them into it somehow. Make it run parallel to the story's events in some way, so while it's similar, it's not the exact same thing (like the beginning of Shadow Chronicles taking place during the last episode or two of Robotech). It'll at least make it easy to establish a timeline as to when stuff happens in it.
