i converted my US save to japanese in order to get all those weapons that are not in US version, and then once i got em , i canvert back Us VERSION. Its a pluguin called deemerh.

Its the only way to get Edel weapons and Ely Sion, since i finished ad got all weapons from US version, before leaving the game i decided to do all Japanese DLC and get all weapons there. when u finish US version u can try, DLC is fun just need to work some hours per day translating japanese and then complete the missions .
