    Question PSU JP (translated)?

Sorry if this is being posted in the wrong area, but I need to know the answer to a question I have. .

A long while ago, I recall reading a thread mentioning PSU JP, which supported 'on-the-fly' language translation. I'm foggy on the details of whether it was english to jp, or jp to english or 2 way but it sounds incredibly useful. I believe this was geared toward PSU-PC JP.

I think the translation was a patch but I never saved the link to the thread nor the patch, if it is one. Could anyone help shine some light on this PSU JP with built-in translationg?

With PSU NA/EU PC/PS2 gone, it seems very relevant to our interests.

It is a little program that translates your chat log using google translator. It only translates (badly) what JP people are saying. I havn't tried it yet.

Ah, thanks for the speedy reply, Shou.

So it IS a program.. Despite it being bad, do you happen to know the name of this translator or any other info on finding it? I'm searching back and forth through the forum for it and i'm not having any luck.

nevermind. I found it through some intensive google-fu.

The name of the translator is PSUJP TRANSLATOR, and goes by the filename psujpt-0.1.zip.

A link so others can get it is: http://psupedia.info/~essen/psujpt/

Oh, one more thing, Shou. What's this about free PSU JP? I've kinda been out of the loop for a while.

It won't work for anyone until essen updates it, but that's pretty low on his list of priorities right now!

It doesn't translate drops anymore, but it still translates chat and mails I believe.
